Question 1

How do I find a mobile plant fitter in Australia?

Accepted Answer

Search the Ausfitter directory by suburb or let it auto-locate you. Verified mobile fitters and workshops are ranked nearest-first, so the closest qualified help is always at the top. You can book direct or post the job to the board for competitive bids.

Question 2

What equipment does Ausfitter cover?

Accepted Answer

Ausfitter covers heavy plant and equipment including excavators, skid steers, loaders, cranes, compactors and generators, across hydraulic, electrical, engine and undercarriage faults.

Question 3

What is Ask Boss?

Accepted Answer

Ask Boss is Ausfitter's AI diagnostic assistant. Describe the fault and it narrows the cause down one theory and one test at a time, then flags the job Safe to Inspect, Caution, or Do Not Run before you go near the machine.

Question 4

How much does Ausfitter cost?

Accepted Answer

Operators can use Ask Boss and post jobs to the board. Fitters and workshops list their business on a subscription plan — see the pricing page for current plans, or contact hello@ausfitter.com.au about enterprise access.

Question 5

How fast can I get a fitter to a breakdown?

Accepted Answer

Jobs go live on the board the moment you post them, with no approval delay, so fitters can see and quote immediately. The diagnostic transcript travels with the job so the fitter arrives already briefed.
